Ebley Mill in the 1960’s, a woollen mill surrounded by Industrial dereliction, near the end of its life as a functioning textile mill.
In the late evening sun it can be seen that some of the buildings have been swept away and Ebley Mill is now the Stroud Council Offices. The chimney is now natural stone colour and sports a new flared top. Can you see the join? The foreground is now a builder's screen and so hides the rubble. Soon this view will be blocked by new buildings. Because of the builder’s fencing I could not take the image from the same location as previously so I got as close as I could, holding the camera over my head and hoping I got the composition correct.
